Anti-Slip 101

As recommended by the Building Department in the 'Design Manual: Barrier Free Access 2008', in general, the floor should be slip-resistant with a minimum 'static coefficient of friction' of 'Good' grading, i.e. static coefficient of friction measured in dry condition should range between 0.5 (inclusive) and below 0.8.

By understanding the slip resistance of the flooring materials, it is possible to reduce the accident from happening.
